I have somewhat been lacking in pushing the campaign as I have been exploring my creative side. not a totally bad thing… Since content is always good for the site! But the campaign is very important. Your support is the fuel that keeps the fire burning!

We all have goals, dreams and things that we fight to accomplish and I have always felt that dreams are just the precursor to a new reality. However to make any dream into reality we must have focus and determination.

How many times have you let a dream slip through your fingers due to you thinking it impossible or not obtainable? Or did you give in to the pessimistic rantings of those who due to their own lack of vision or focus set you on a path away from your dreams or goals?

But past it all you must continue to believe, we must all hold ourselves accountable to our fate our destiny and most importantly our dreams!

Some of you may read this post and say that their help is not neede,d someone else will support the campaign in their place, some one else will push the campaign forward… I am sincerely hoping that you are not that person! For this is one of those “All hands on deck moments” This is the moment where we need all of you to take part in the campaign!

If I could I would make each book a penny as the monetary gain is not what is at stake here… It is the statement!

The campaign is about being better about turning from the anger and resentment that others would have you feel so that they may rightfully justify their actions, their behaviors, their hate… and i can guarantee for each person who takes part in the campaign to see it succeed there is another person who is hoping that it fails if only to pat themselves on the back and add another victory to bitterness.

Yes! I could make the campaign easier I could have included everything as part of the campaign everything in the Buck Buck Store just by the math the campaign would be over very quickly… I went against the grain and chose one book because that one book symbolized why we should all be better and not bitter, the book that generated hate only for the reason that I was able to once again turn a dream into a reality, because I accomplished something that a certain person could not…

The Reality?

No matter how much this person wishes for me to become bitter from their actions… The book still exists and via the campaign I am proving that better is the path to take!

Does that make sense to you? Do you feel that willingly playing in to another persons negativity will not solve anything? Do you believe we are not puppets to be manipulated into turning our lives over to darkness and hate and negativity?

We are all human and we by our very nature demand revenge and retribution for the wrongs placed upon us… Although there are times when we must rise above and become more than human, more than our base emotions, more than our fears… It took me a long time to realize that, it took many a night of tossing and turning, days of getting nothing done, all due to my being bitter.

Ultimately? I realized that I was making myself a victim, playing into the false sense of insecurity that was laid out before me I was being led down a path not of my own choosing! I was as I have said many a time on this site “REACTING”. We can never ‘act’ or take ‘action’ if we are spending our lives reacting!

Yes! Removal from the wrong path is the first step, we are now at the second step… We are now at the path of making something real, tangible and with substance!

I really need you to take part in the campaign, to take action on this dream, to assist in the accomplishment of this goal!

There are many people in this world that I know I can never depend upon, many people that I know would rather see every dream or goal smashed before it even has a chance to leave the gate…

But I know I can depend on you!

So as the day continues on (told you it would be a big weekend!)… I am getting ready to go to the movies for the purpose of getting a review up and I deserve to be entertained! One of the things I have promised myself to do from this point on? Do not read reviews! Yes it might be a bad thing (especially with the way the Hollywood machine pushes out crap movies) But I Now believe that if you go to a movie with no expectations you are going with an open mind… But if the movie is crap? No amount of having an open mind is going to change that!

So I need to find something to do online to calm my overactive mind, something that is relaxing yet interesting, fun yet informative, cool yet not too mainstream…   Something like Ghetto Logic?

Anywho…

I am looking through images (actually thinking about another tattoo) and I come across an image of my zodiac sign, Capricorn!

Since I have never been too knowledgeable about the whole astrology thing I decided to find out some details about my sign… Especially before deciding to subject myself to needle sticks!

So here is what I found out, and looking at my life? Pretty darn close!

Capricorn ( The Goat ) December 21-January 19

Character analysis
The Capricorn symbolized by goat, an animal which delights in climbing the highest mountain and most precipitous rock. Hard work, fatigue and self denial are counted as nothing by them. At times they are reserved, secretive and tactical. They are unmoved by flattery and seldom express surprise. They are interested in everything under the sun from Philosophy to Archeology. They are methodical in every thing they do. They take all the pain in surmounting difficulties that comes in their way. If baulked of a position of authority and made to work under the domination of others, they become gloomy, morose and critical. They always long for moral and intellectual freedom. Typical Capriconians are not easily roused to anger but they are very slow to forgive if provoked. They have the tendency to keep in mind a wrong and wreak vengeance at the right time. Something I really did not know… That actually scared me!

Capricorns are not sensitive people on a whole, but when they feel they have been scorned, the will stop at nothing to get revenge on that person. They are not emotional like Cancer, which makes them even more intimidating. They literally have the capacity to tear someone apart and not even flinch. They are more of a “controlled” psycho. They will plot meticulously, every detail of their enemies’ demise, smile at their enemy, and continue to smile as their enemy falls. They can be ruthlessly cold blooded, and their type of revenge is not to fill a wound like Cancer, their type of revenge is methodical, and they will not see any wrong doing in it at all. A Capricorn’s vengeance is mathematically thought out, and carried out, as simply being a “side effect” to what was done to them originally. They have no remorse and absolutely no sensitivity when it comes to them getting what they want!

Well that’s my sign! Capricorn in a nutshell! I would say a good 90% of this fits me… Which in itself is kind of scary!

3.fate; destiny. Synonyms: predestination, predetermination, lot, kismet.

4.the good or bad emanations felt to be generated by someone or something: Lets get out of here. This place has bad karma.

 

 

Another one of those pesky universal laws that prove themselves to be a constant time and time again! Loosely based on the principle of cause and effect and sometimes called The Golden Rule… Karma can sometimes be a bitch!

In all reality though? Karma really does not always have to be a bad thing! In fact, Karma always begins and ends with you!

Probably not accepting that right? Well lets look at it from a whole different angle…

We all want to get ahead of the rat race, we all want to reach that next station in life whether it is with our jobs, our social lives and/or our relationships… Now we can approach how we climb these ladders in 2 different ways

1- We can utilize the take no prisoners approach basically leaving a path of chaos, destruction and a whole lot of bad feelings behind us. Stepping on the necks of those who pose themselves as even a slight obstacle to our goals! We can utilize all the dirty tricks at our disposal to quicken our climb… You know, the usual tools of selfishness -Lies, deception, manipulation and subterfuge!

2- We can stay true to ourselves, stay true to the positive side of the universe! We can utilize compassion and empathy. Instead of lies, deception, manipulation and subterfuge? We can be honest and honorable in our actions. We can be cognizant of those around us as well as the effects our action are having on these people. Most importantly! instead of viewing someone as an obstacle or a person who has no immediate benefit to assisting you in reaching your goal… Don’t stop on their neck or discard them or turn a blind eye ignoring their existance… Take a moment to show a bit of empathy and maybe, just maybe take a break from you climb to assist another human being that may have lost their way…

The reality of these two different approaches is that (especially in this society) approach one seems to get you to your goals faster! Cannot lie it is the honest to goodness truth! History is filled with tales of tyrants, and dictators that have risen to power by following what I consider to be “The Dark Side” by trampling on the souls of all of those around them… But in the end Karma always catches up with them! None of these people ever live to a ripe old age surrounded by family and loved ones, None of these people end their lives peacefully and quietly surrounded by love and the tears of people who will truly miss them… Yep that’s Karma…

Now the people that use approach 2? They usually find life to be a bit richer when they obtain what it is that they sought. History has just as many stories of these people, But their stories are always highlighted by the stories of people who say that they would have never acquired their place in history if not for the actions of the person that took approach 2! Approach 2? Yes, it will take a little bit longer to get where you hope to be if only because of the frequent stops to assist those along the way, or stopping to recognize and/or give an encouraging word to another fellow human being… But in the end? When your world starts to erode or become a bit unstable and perhaps you start to lose footing and start to fall from your lofty perch…

How do you think the people that you encountered on the way up will treat you? When you are tumbling head over foot and wildly throwing your hands out for help, wanting someone to at least steady your fall… Get you back on your feet… Which approach do you think will afford that.

That my friends is Karma in a nutshell!

I have always tried to be cognizant of my actions, and as of late even more so! Because the more things I see happen to those around me, I know without a shadow of doubt that “what goes around… really always comes back around”

Do you want to live your life in a constant state of fear knowing that your actions are on a boomerang trajectory heading back to you? Picking up speed with each negative action you have created… The worst thing is that the boomerang sometimes will just hover,  circle over your life and wait for just the worst moment to knock you over the head with it’s payload of all the really messed up things you have done!

The good thing about Karma? Karma is always based on choice! You choose what you put out there! You choose how you treat others! You choose your actions!

Like I always say! “Choice Defines”!
